Entropie has been awarded a contract by BLACK & VEATCH International Company for the supply of a desalination plant with a total capacity of 3500 m3/d. The final destination of the plant is Indonesia for the Lontar extension coal fired steam power plant.
The scope of supply includes engineering, fabrication and delivery of two Multiple Effect Distillation with vapour thercompression units with a capacity of 1 750 m3/d each. The scope also includes interconnection to the existing installation. Entropie will also supervise the installation and start-up of the desalination plant.
The desalination technology used is Multiple Effect Distillation (MED-TVC).
