Entropie has been awarded a contract by Posco Engineering and Construction Co Ltd for the supply of a desalination plant with a total capacity of 5000 m3/d. The final destination of the plant is Chile for the Cochrane Thermoelectric power plant. The desalination plant is anticipated to be delivered and completed by early of 2015.
The scope of supply includes engineering, fabrication and delivery of two Multiple Effect Distillation (MED) units 2 500 m3/d each.
The desalination units shall consist of five evaporation cells operating in Multiple Effect Distillation (MED) process with thermocompressor (TVC).
