Entropie has been awarded a contract by Tecnicas Reunidas Madrid for the supply of a desalination plant with a total capacity of 9402 m3/d. The final destination of the plant is Saudi Arabia for the Ras Tanura Refinery Clean Fuel Project.
The scope of supply includes engineering, fabrication and delivery of three Multiple Effect Distillation with vapour thercompression units with a capacity of 3 134 m3/d each. Entropie will also supervise the installation and start-up of the desalination plant.
The desalination technology used is Multiple Effect Distillation (MED-TVC).
